This is just a quick post to let you know about 3 short story competitions that are free to enter. But one is closing soon ( next week) so you have to be quick with that one if you want to enter.
The prizes are $300 AUD, 100 Euros and 100 GBP.

This competition closes on Monday 14th April 2014.
Choose one of 10 picture prompts and then write a short story of 1,500 to 2,500 words.
Submission is by email.
First prize is $300 AUD.

SpineTinglers
This is an ongoing, monthly competition but submission need to be in by the 15th of each month to be entered into the next month's competition.
Stories don't have to be scary or gory but must make the reader's spine tingle.
Word count is up to, but not over, 5,000 words.
First prize is 100 British Pounds.
