Knowing How to Write HTML Code Helped Me.

Years ago I took a course in web page design which, naturally, involved learning and understanding how to write HTML code.

HTML is the basic element of any web page, even blog pages.

Now I'm moving on even further and learning how to create fluid web pages, which means they adapt to the size of screen that's being used. So someone viewing my website on a mobile device will see it differently than someone viewing it on a desktop computer ( a work in progress so it doesn't work that way yet).

And it all started with knowing the basics of HTML code and how to write it, which is the cornerstone of working online with your own website or blog. I even wrote my own course on how to do it to help others.

But why is it so important?

Without a basic understanding of HTML code, you cannot create your own websites. Even if you use web page creation software it will be difficult if you cannot make minor adjustments of your own using the code.

The same is true if you have a blog. You need to understand the HTML code so that you can make the necessary changes to make it look the way you want.

You cannot control what you don't understand.

To work efficiently online, you need at least the basic knowledge of how to write an understand HTML code. And the best thing is that it's not hard to understand at all. In fact, it's all quite easy.

So if you're struggling to with creating your own website or you want more control of how your blog looks, start learning about HTML code and how to use it.

You can do an online search to find plenty of free help. Or go to the Kindle store and find books to help you.

Just take a week or two out of your busy life to sit back and learn how to work more efficiently online once you have the basic understanding of HTML code, how it works and how you can make it work for your website or blog.

Is there something about your website or blog that you're not happy with and want to change? Or do you want to set up a website of your own but you just don't know how?

Then make this the time that you do something about it. Find some free online help or download an ebook or take a HTML course.

And then you can move onto bigger and better things as well, if you want to.

I did. But then, I'm one of life's perpetual students. I'm always learning something new.

And it's what helps me keep moving forward with my online work and helps me earn an income from my writing.
