My first blog post (on this blog)

This is my new blog for writers where I'll be posting what I'm writing, how I work, apps and software I use and anything else relevant that will help you to write more and earn more money from your writing.

If you're a writer and you want to work full time writing instead of wasting time at a day job while you'd rather be writing, then this blog for writers could be just the thing you need to help inspire you and keep you writing more and earning more.

Some people like to think that to be a writer, it's better to concentrate on your writing and be "true" to your creativity rather than try and earn money from what you write.

And while this idea may seem romantic, being a starving writer who can't earn money from what they do isn't my idea of being a writer.

To me, writing is about earning money from my writing so that I can work as a writer instead a hobby-ist who has a full time job and writes as a hobby in their spare time.

I may not be one of the best known writers around, but I have spent years working from home as a writer and earning all my income from my writing.

To me that is being a successful writer.

If you want to be "true" to your creativity and be a starving writer living in a garrett, go ahead.

But I'd rather be writing and earning money every day.

I can honestly say that I am living the writing dream.

How about you.

Follow this blog through RSS or email to keep up to date with what I do and how I do it.
