Firstly it must teach. If no one learns anything from reading your article, they'll be disappointed and won't want to read anything of yours again.
Next it needs to be original. No one wants to read an article that's exactly like another one they've already read.
And lastly, it needs to contain the right keywords otherwise the search engines won't index it correctly so everyone who want sot read it won't be able to find it.
