This is just a quick reminder, that the BBC International Radio Playwriting Competition closes in less than 2 days.
This competition is open to all non-residents of the UK and the first prize is a whopping 2,000 British Pounds, sterling.
And even though the closing date is in only a few hours, it's not to late to write your script and enter it.
The script is for a 53 minute radio play with 6 characters or less in any genre. There is plenty of information on their website showing you how to set out a script, what to include and what not to include.
With a script, each page is assumed to be 1 minute of air-time, so your play has to be around the 53 page mark, depending on the amount of dialogue, etc, so aim for 45 to 65 pages.
Writing such a short play shouldn't take a long time so it's still possible to enter.
And even if you don't win, you still have a script that you can submit elsewhere.
If you've want to enter, or you already have, good luck.
