How to Write an Ebook

If you want to write an ebook, you can write anything you want.

But if you want to sell your ebook, there are important things you need to consider, in particular, the one I'm going to tell you about.

Which is...your ebook needs to appeal to the reader.

They need a reason to keep reading as they read it.

That’s why there are 4 parts to every ‘how to’ ebook that must be included and we’ll go through them over the next 4 days.

We’ll start today with the first 2 ‘must haves’ which are ‘What?’ and ‘Why’?

These are the first two questions your ebook needs to answer.

What is your reader going to learn and why do they need to know?

So you need to start by stating what your ebook is about.

And then explain why you’re going to tell them.

Think of it as if the reader is asking “So what?”

So you need to explain why they need to know.

Make them care.

Get them excited to read more.

Tell them what they are going to learn and how it will help them.

You could even start with a story about a problem they’re having and then say how your ebook is going to solve that problem.

By the time they’ve finished reading about why they need your ebook, they’ll be eager to keep reading.

It’s a great opening ‘hook’.

So start writing out your ‘what?’ and  ‘why?’ now.
