Writing Reviews on Amazon Can Really Pay

This week I read a blog post written by my friend, and co-author of The Wealthy Writer, Nick Daws.

His blog post was titled "How I Got My Best-Paid Writing Job Ever Last Week Through Amazon!" and in it he talked about how he was 'invited' by Amazon to write reviews.

And this is what he said...
He was invited by Amazon to write reviews of new products.

His 'payment' was that Amazon would deliver the product to him so that he could try it out and write a review and then he could keep the product.

His first product turned out to be a $2,000 luxury mattress.

So why did he receive the invite in the first place?

Because he'd already written a lot of useful reviews on Amazon and they liked his work.

And the thing about Amazon reviews is that they don't have to be long and can be written in just a few minutes.

So receiving something worth a couple of thousands of dollars for just a few minutes work (and trying out the product too, of course, which he could literally do in his sleep) was a pretty good return of investment in time.

I never thought there was much use in reviewing products on Amazon except for the fact they they put a link to your reviewer's page where you can place a link to your Amazon Author's page, which is what I did. And of course my author page on Amazon also has a link to my website.

But now it seems that not only is it great for getting traffic to your website and your books on Amazon, but it can also pay you much more than that. And as Nick put it, it could turn into the best paid writing job ever.

Read his blog post at http://www.mywritingblog.com/2014/03/how-i-got-my-best-paid-writing-job-ever.html.

And then go over to Amazon and review a product or two or three.
